Wastelands

“Let me tell you a tale of a world full of trash…”

Wastelands is the story of Hero, the last remaining human on earth, stranded on the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Castaway-style, Hero has populated the island with garbage puppet citizenry to keep them company and ingenious – if improvised – inventions to keep them alive. But the doomsday clock is ticking down to the end of the world, and this patchwork community is running out of time. An apocalyptic comedy about garbage and the pieces of trash who produce it.

A one-person clown and puppet show performed with junk in an immersive/interactive environment constructed with single-use plastics.
